  • What You’ll Learn

  • Meet Your Teacher

  • Is it any good?

  • If you’ve ever wanted to know how to make your own soft furnishings, why not start with a small corded roman blind? As Lisa guides you through the process, you’ll gain all the knowledge you need to move onto bigger blinds in your own time. You’ll have fitted out your entire house before you know it, and this course will prove to have been a very savvy investment! This is an intermediate level course – you should be comfortable with hand sewing before booking.

  • Lisa has spent the best part of her adult life surrounded by metres and metres of fabric. In former roles, she’s sewn tents, marquees and even football stadium covers. She prides herself on her accurate measuring and attention to detail, no matter the size of the task at hand, and has learned to develop remarkable patience over the course of her career. In recent years, she’s turned her hand to smaller sewing projects and now teaches others how to save money by making their own soft furnishings for their homes.
