  • What You'll Learn

  • Meet your teacher

  • Is it any good?

  • An introduction to outdoor climbing, including how to tie into a harness and belay. Once on the rock, Martin will guide you through the most efficient techniques and give you feedback on your movements throughout. You’ll be climbing on some of the most dramatic rocks the South Coast has to offer, taking routes that have been personally handpicked by Martin to suit those looking for a tough but achievable introduction.
  • Growing up with two Scout leader parents, it was inevitable that Martin would lead an adventurous life. He went climbing on the rocks near Swanage at the age of four, and has devoted his life to hunting down new, exciting places to climb ever since. Martin’s a qualified mountain leader and climbing instructor, who enjoys a particularly close relationship with the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast. If you’re looking for a real local expert to help you get into the sport of climbing, look no further than Martin!
